Default Discovery 5 Voyager Rack

Installed Voyager rack today.

Thoughts:

- packaging should have been better given the cost of the rack. Couple scratches upon delivery.
- easy installation
- nice aesthetic
- seems well built and sturdy
- couple spots on the mesh floor that were completely unpainted
- gold anodized hardware would have been nicer if it was black and would have made the aesthetic better. Especially the wind fairing. I plan to replace the fairing hardware with low profile black Allen bolts
- wind fairing is a must. Took a drive without it. Noise in the cabin could be heard at 40mph. Highway speeds the noise level was extreme. The fairing does very well at quieting it down. 70mph can barely hear any noise if any. My all terrain tires are louder than the noise made by the rack. The fairing should have been de-burred/smoothed around the edges. Sharp enough to cut skin in some areas. The fairing also came with a crease in it.

I'm overall satisfied. My biggest complaint is the packaging and the misses on the finish.

I can grab more pictures if folks want them.

Mine came banged up a little too. And the hardware was totally useless, pretty sure it was not even the right hardware kit. Well it was the wrong rack too, so there is that.

Yup, I won't mess up your thread with the details. I have a thread in the LR3 section. But I wanted a low profile off-road and they sent the full height and then not only would they not resolve it, they ghosted me. And my rack has at least one welding bead rolling around inside so when I take corners its like jingle bells. Lesson learned, but I knew better based on the feedback about them on the forums.

Gotcha. I think I read that one. That's unfortunate. They were not very responsive with questions on my end either.
