2018 Land Rover discovery HSE lux

After I take off from a stand still with gentle acceleration and when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd I hear a drive line vibration. If I were to take off with more throttle it does not happen.

it is most prominent if I start to turn left right after take off.

The car is equipped with a rear locking diff.

anyone else experienced similar situation?

 

Is it more like a 'thump'? If so, I have the same issue and have the rear differential. I have asked my JLR Dealer (Raleigh, NC) to diagnose multiple times, however they have never been able to duplicate.

Time will tell if it is a detrimental problem.

 

Yeah, it is a thump. I’ll update the thread if I find out more
