Vibration
Start again in the middle of Refurbishing a 05 plate range rover Overfinch 580s one with the bored out 4.4 BMW engine in it I have a problem with a vibration at all speeds but more noticeable at 50mph fitted a new torque converter about 6 weeks ago problem vibration nearly when but was still there any ideas am thinking in may need a rebuild on the gearbox ;( the people that fitted the torque converter landrover themselves changes the old but not the filter ? Could this be the Culprit or am a been a tad Optimistic ;0)

Where are you feeling this vibration? In the steering wheel, under the seat? What kind of pitch/frequency is it, high/low? Vibration is a very generic term. I've been chasing a vibration down that nobody can figure out on a Lincoln Aviator. I've taken it to three shops and their diagnosis is always different. Fourth time is a charm...
Is the vibration speed or rpm related? Does it come and go when the gas or brake is applied?

Hi thanks for the reply the vibration seems to be load dependent let go of the throttle an it goes ;( it's goes thou the whole car but quite bad between 50/60 the cars been plugged in whe been driven everything is working as should ! The only thing I have found is the track rod ends Ar worn but I doubt this is the problem ;(

i want to second threalassmikeg's suspicion about tires. i was experiencing uncomfortable vibrations at speeds around 65mph on my '97. checked everything i could check. finally...i checked the tire manufacture dates. hmmm. time for a new set. changed all four tires, and problem solved.
always rule out the tires, wheels, balancing.
