As a new member this is my first post and I hope you can help.

Yesterday was the first dashboard prompt to add DEF to my 3L 2018 Discovery 5, HSE since the last time that I topped off the DEF.

So I added the DEF yesterday afternoon.

On my first 5 mile drive to the shops the engine management warning light came on. Indicating a DEF problem. ChatGPT suggests the car could go into limp mode if driven.

is it something that is not a problem and will clear or will it need a mechanic’s intervention?
