When I had my old 2017 Discovery, I was able to control my back seats using my Infotainment screen. And I would use this feature to fold down the second row head restraints instead of doing it manually by press each button and fold. You weren't able to control them from the infotainment screen to go back up though BUT you were able to fold them down. Now that I have this new 2022 Discovery, I can't seem to find this screen. It does show in my owners manual but can't seem to find it. I'm wondering if JLR is cutting corners by leaving out certain features. Or maybe it wasn't activated in the vehicle's software. Any information is greatly appreciated.
This screenshot is from the digital phone app where you can download the owners manual.
Resonse I got on 2021 below. It is now an option and not standard as original 2017.
No seat fold screen on Pivi unit and mobile app I was told I did not get this option. So the only way to put the 2nd row down is via the boot/trunk switches.
From what I recall, it's a US$300 option on 2021+ for 'Intelligent Seat Fold'. This might be something that can be programmed though, dealer can't add that back post delivery?
Intelligent seat fold functionality removed from the InControl App
Hi, I have a new 2022 Discovery HSE R-Dynamic and I've been told that the Intelligent seat fold functionality in the InControl App has been removed from the 2022 model - has anyone else also had this ?
