I was putting fuel additive in my tank and it didn’t want to drain in so I took the bottle end to poke the flap up. It did but when pulling it out the cap snapped off in the tank. It’s a little plastic end about a coke bottle cap size. Do you think it’s fine and will just float around? Anyway to access the tank?
It'll probably just float around. I suppose the only real danger is if it begins to disintegrate and somehow contaminates the fuel or smaller bits clog lines. Though being plastic and made to hold fuel, I doubt that will happen.
Fuel tanks end up will all types of stuff in them over time. You should be ok.

The only issue l see would be the cap getting fouled up in the fuel gauge float/sender. Might want to keep an eye out for this, irregularities. Can't imagine the cap ever "breaking down" in our lifetime.
Ouch. Make sure you're using the little funnel that should have come with the vehicle, or you can get one almost anywhere and keep the rear of your truck.
I remember the first time I filled up my previous MY15 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the EcoDiesel in it, I didn't realize I had that filler door in the filler neck that had to be pushed down in order for anything to get into the tank, and I wasted my entire 8oz bottle of Stanadyne as it went out the relief drain just ahead of the rear wheel. That is one thing I like about the Hot Shot's Secret Everyday Diesel Treatment is the smaller amount of the additive needed. I went from 8oz in Stanadyne to 4oz shots of OptiLube, and now down to 2oz shots of HSS EDT. Hard to imagine it's doing the same desired results, but they say you can even get by on 1oz of HSS EDT for 25g and that 2oz is a performance shot. Less liquid to carry and spill in the back.
