Default JLRNA Settlement Notice

Hey everyone, I received a JLRNA Settlement Notice this week from a lawyer out of Philadelphia regarding the infotainment system. Did anyone else receive this?

It's in my mail today but haven't picked it up yet.
Gee, there's so many issues that could apply to infotainment. I wonder which it is.

Same here. I haven't read all the way through it to see exactly what it actually covers. I had a problems with the system when we first purchased the truck related to the handover process not being done right and having no connectivity. The dealer initially didn't want to cover a manual software update under the CPO but after much insistence they finally did.

I have it as well. I googled the law firm and the proposed settlement. They are asking for the systems to be firmware upgraded for free so that the infotainment can do the Wifi based updates instead of having to use only the now defunct 3G connection as on the early D5s. From my understanding dealerships have been charging from $200 to 600 for this update to the D5 (this is the one that should also allow Android and Apple connections) . I remember one owners D5's radio bricked on this update and the owner was on the hook for about $2k for a system replacement. I believe this settlement will also cover that if it happens during the update.

Without reading this, it sounds great since the OTA update nearly bricked mine.

edit:

after reading it says 2018 - 2020 years which omit my 2017 that has the same issue.

We received ours as well a few days ago... Our unit gave us quite a few bugs early on (including major connection issues with the Wifi)... but over past three years, really hasn't done much of anything except be exceptionally slow. 2018 HSE TD6.
