anyone know how to get the fix done on the back of this? I spoke to Land Rover USA and all they did was send me to the settlement website.

Can you post the site? They my screen hardly comes on at all and two months ago they tried to charge me for replacing it, but since I had gotten the letter I planned to wait until after the Oct 10 hearing and have them do it for free… but can’t find anything on the oct 10 approval hearing

I’m picking my car up at the dealer tomorrow and going to start grilling them about it.

Default Waiting..

I emailed JLR North America to ask about this, because the service manager at my dealership claimed to know nothing. JLRNA simply sent me the link to the settlement website. From my understanding the 60 day clock has started for them to issue a service bulletin and get in touch with owners who are eligible.

This link seems to be broken, were you able to access it?

I got the InControl Preliminary Settlement document in the mail last year. I saw it in my files again today, so I looked up the status of this class action lawsuit.

The final approval hearing was back on October 10, 2024. The Final Settlement approval document was released by the Court on October 11, 2024. Later a one-page Judgement document was also released by the Court on December 17, 2024.

The Final Settlement matched what was agreed to in the Preliminary Settlement document that was mailed out.

JLRNA was supposed to plan their service programs and announce them within 60 days of the Effective Date of the settlement. Not sure if that clock started with the Final Settlement Approval date or the Judgement date, but either way, the 60 days should be up.

Has anyone received any notice about the InControl repair program or the 1-year limited warranty from JLRNA? Has anyone received any support or warranty coverage from dealers yet for InControl issues as a result of the new service program?

No. My service advisor said he had no idea what I was talking about when I brought it up last time.

No, but I called the dealer and asked about an extended warranty on the system and after having to dig a lot, they confirmed I was covered by it; depending on the part.

I’ve got an appointment 3/31/25 to have them re-diagnose it and do a secondary confirmation. This apparently is required because the parts are restricted and cannot be ordered without it being done. Then the parts can be ordered and shipped with an unknown ETA.
