Default L462 Gearbox jerky in 4x4 Lo when shifting between P, D, R

New member here and first time owner of a Land Rover. Discovery 5 L462 TD6 with 35000 miles on the clock.

Still busy getting used to the vehicle and its dynamics.

Noticed today when driving in 4x4 Lo gear and shifting between P, R, N, D there is some very jerky shaking of the car as the gear engages. Most pronounced between P and R. You also here clunk as the gears engage when drivers window is open.

When driving its quiet and gearbox behaves perfectly in normal driving modes. Still some slight jerk when selecting gears but I would say similar to others vehicles i have owned.

Is this behavior normal and if not what can I look out for.

I would also like to get a obd cable and suggestions on software for setting adaptions etc. My current cables and software all suited for BMW.

Would the icarsoft diagnostic tool also be able to reset adaptions.

The Gap tool seems very expensive? Which version is preferred?

You will have to contact icarsoft....

The Gap tool is preferred. You own a Land Rover, money is no problem. You'll be spending lots more later.....

I'm joking, at least I wish I was......
