New Disco Owner Here
Hey everyone!
First, thank you for all the great information on this forum. My wife and I are picking up. 2020 Disco HSE Td6 this upcoming week. I used to work for LR as a Sales Guide but left in 2012 and much has changed in 8 years! My biggest question for now is what app is used to control the vehicle for lock/unlock, seats, etc.... I will have many more questions I’m sure but this is bothering me right now lol.
Thanks in advance!

The app for the iPhone is called “Remote”.
There are two versions, the icon for the older one has a black background, the newer one is white.
It may just be me, but on the new one I don’t see any option for folding the seats, whereas on the old one I do...

Welcome, nice wheels! The new app is a bit nicer looking but doesn’t offer any new major functionality. Date filter on journey being nice. However it doesn’t offer an Apple Watch AFAIK, which the old one does. That might not be an issue for you. And you can use both.
So was it an advantage buying having been a seller?

How interesting. This was news to me. Why would they roll out a new app and not sunset the old one? Like you, I don't see the seat folding option on the "new" one.
Thanks for the info everyone!
Working in the industry might have actually worked against me. I hate the haggling so I just decide what I want, find it, and buy it. I tend to take it easy on them and if I feel it’s a fair deal I’m happy. I don’t need a great deal.
