So I've had a heck of a time with this vehicle. Drove it down the road then as I was driving back the motor was not putting power down then coasted to a stop and wouldn't start. I had to have it towed back to the house. I've pulled all of the spark plugs and tested them, looked at all of the fuses, especially the fuel pump fuses, and everything checks out. Opened the fuel rail and fuel was spitting out when trying to start. Put in a new starter and put on new belts for good measure and everything cranks but won't fire.
I've put a scanner on it and get:
U0046-87 Vehicle Communication Bus C - Missing Message Confirmed IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) and IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module)
B108E-04 Display - System Internal Failures ECM (Engine Control Module)
U0405-86 Invalid Data Received From Speed Control Module. - Signal Invalid ECM (Engine Control Module)
P025C-11 Fuel Pump Control Module - Circuit Low. - Short Circuit To Ground ECM (Engine Control Module)
P008A-84 Low Pressure Fuel System - Pressure Is Too Low. - Signal Below Allowable Range TCU (Telematic Control Unit Module)
TCU (Telematic Control Unit Module)
U2109-09 Back-up Battery - Component Failures.
I have cleaned up every ground and still running into it turning over but not starting. Is anyone aware of a fuel reset switch/ inertia switch in this model? The workshop manual mentions it but doesn't have any other information on it.
I found that same reference to the inertia switch but it was under the TD6 section, not under the Si6 section so I don't think that will help you.
I also could not find any reference to a fuel reset.

Inertia switches are used primarily for accidents to cut fuel delivery for fire prevention. I'd especially expect one in gasoline engine equipped vehicles.

Yeah I would have to think there has to be one. My symptoms are replicating the litany of previous discovery models having this issue. Someone hopefully can chime in and let us know.
