I recently came across this post by BMW on FB about how beginning in mid 2020, they intend to offer wireless Android Auto in their BMW OS 7.0. Considering that there are already vehicles out there with this OS, the premise that this feature could be added via just a s/w update is very encouraging. Having OTA in the JLR and the way they retroactively offered the SmartPhone pack means that perhaps, or at leat theoretically, it could be extended to our vehicles some day.

19C finally showed up as a OTA download option yesterday. I'm in NC and still haven't seen release notes.

Honestly in this day and age their shouldn't have to be a staggered rollout of OTA updates (which is relatively small in size). Once the update is ready it should be available to all customers.

I just noticed with the update, on the air flow screen....the Nanoe thing is replaced by a picture of airflow. I wonder what else I will find?

Nav OTA update now? I used to do the USB stick update route, since it is a big update.

Can you post a picture of what you mean airflow and nanoe???

Has anyone with a 2020 Disco been able to do the 19-C update? I read on one of the Jaguar forums that the 2020 models either won't need the 19-C update or would be receiving it last.

Ah, I'm downloading to the USB stick as we speak. I noticed on our 2019 with 19B that there was a download icon on the top right corner of the infotainment screen. When we stopped home I went to setting and sure enough I could download 19C, waiting for it to complete installation. It is nice that they have the download icon now, just wish it would keep reconnecting to the home wifi and just download when it is on it (only said 31MB for 19C).
