There's a setting that you can turn "on" or "off" the sunroof blinds:
- touch the "gears" or "settings" icon in the tray at the bottom of your touchscreen
- touch "all settings" on the right side of the settings screen
- touch "features" on the "all settings" screen
- touch "climate" at the bottom of the "features" screen
- at the bottom of the "climate" screen there is an option for "Auto Sunroof Blind". Here you can select your preference.

Congrats on the new Disco!

Thanks, I’ll try this when I get it back from service, I had it less than 12 hours, then dropped it off at my local LR dealership so they could fix the electronic telescoping steering wheel control - we had to drive with the steering wheel in the most upright and pushed forward position, not very pleasant so it is in for service...bummer when it was supposed to have been through an intensive “165 point CPO” check - yeah right, sure it was!

Great. Never knew that was there. I wouldn't have thought to look in 'climate' for the sunroof blinds but I guess it makes sense. I turned the auto to off and now it just goes and stays where I put it. Just what I wanted!
