Default Process for removing DPF for cleaning?

Does anyone have diagrams or instructions for removing the DFP? I plan to have it cleaned and re-installed.

Thanks

Have you done it? I'm at 66k miles and currently on a long road trip from Texas up into Colorado and back for some off-roading. Would you please be kind enough to take pictures and document what you do? I'm the sort of person that will cost himself 5x as much by ripping something off the wrong way!

I’m like you. Haven’t done it yet. Trying to decide if it’s something I want to tackle.

im on a road trip from Texas to SC and back at the moment. Interested to see if or how much my DPF clears out after 8-10 hour days at 75mph. I hit it with additives prior to leaving and depending on how this goes will impact what I do.

How do you check it in the first place? I’ve doneHot Shots Extreme for a tank, immediatelynoticed a difference, and on my drive Houstonto Amarillo yesterday (600 miles) using hot shots EDT I did 23.2mpg with 275/55 KO2s on here at 80-85mph for anywhere it’d let me. Very impressed with that. I’m putting the EDT in every tank and I also went ahead and added their STICATION to my oil. Was a little more hesitant about the stication but read a lot and watched reviews. Everything seems to be purring along just fine. It’s the weird electrical issues I’ve been having I need to work on but nothing crazy

Well my CEL is on and one of the codes was the DPF. Hopefully that will clear on the trip. I also put in a bottle of JLM DPF cleaner for one of the tanks of gas.
