Default Disco water leaking from air vent

I have a 2020 Disco. I took it or the shop because I noticed water coming out of the A/C vent under the rear right seat. Two things had happened the 24 hours leading up to that:
1) It rained extremely hard
2) I took the car through a car wash because I had been at the beach and got the undercarriage cleaned

The dealership says there is a faulty seal in the sunroof and are fixing that. To me that is hard to comprehend. However, I’m no expert. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar. What the cause/solution was, and if you think I should push them further to look under the car as well. Thanks!

Sunroofs never seal all the water out. That's why there's a drain tube from each corner of the sunroof opening that snakes down and drains into a fender well or other safe location.
If your sunroof drain is draining into your right rear seat that could be the problem but it certainly is not the seal of the sunroof.

Ok, thank you. That makes more sense. I could have misconstrued what he said. What you just described is most likely what they are fixing/replacing. Maybe the drain tube is faulty.
