Default Prospeed D5

Ok, I’ll admit it. I’m a fan boy. Prospeed engineering and material quality never disappoints.

We shipped 3 racks together, came out to almost $400 per rack via DHL.

I want this... Thanks for uploading! Have been wondering if they offered a rack for the D5.

What's better about this rack vs the OEM versatile roof rack from JLR? I was initially interested but at that price after the exchange rate and shipping it isn't really all that attractive.

What’s better:
  • Aero front for seamless look and reduced wind noise
  • Aerospace aluminium
  • Precision machined
  • Micron accurate joint system,
  • Multiple mounting options for large range of accessories
  • Extremely low profile
  • Multi-storey car park friendly
  • Stainless steel mounting feet and hardware
  • Lightweight but very sturdy
  • Completely modular - upgrade or even swap to a different vehicle
  • Lifetime guarantee

Whats Worse:

Can’t use your sunroof

I’ve installed racks from Safety Devices, Voyager, Front Runner, OEM most LR models, and Prospeed. Then I have been able to service those cars during the ownership period. If racks were tools, this is the Snapon of racks. Minor chamfers and subtle engineering details make these racks stand out and they age gracefully compared to those listed.

For those who may not be aware, Abran (carrs4x4) and his wife run an amazing LR service center. I'm personally a happy customer.
They aren't the closest to my location in SoCal, but it's worthwhile taking the D5 to trusted folks.
Good to see them more active on the forum
