Remember the cancelled SVX?
Doesn’t the Defender X have L’Orangr accents? If it’s Rush Orange than the search for that colour could be potentially muchhhh easier.
So was the OCTA less sillyly luxurious before Landrover started doing the ‘Defender is a brand’ mindset? That’s pretty cool. I wonder what it would’ve looked like.
Could there also be a possibility the RR 2-door was cancelled due to the D90?

I don't know - I'd say the only difference with the SVX and OCTA is the name, and probably minor things like trim pieces, colors, wheels etc. Notice how the D5 SVX, while still luxurious, has unique color & trim and is more rugged than my old D5 HSE Luxury. I would've imagined the SVX would probably be similar to the OCTA. When I saw the OCTA at Goodwood, it wasn't that much more luxurious than a Defender X, or even my high-spec Defender S. Really the biggest difference were the seats, the Semi-Aniline leather, and the chopped carbon trim, which is exclusive to the Edition One.
No, the RR SV Coupe wasn't cancelled because of the D90. It was cancelled because at the time, JLR was in a bad financial state, and they cancelled it so they could allocate money to other projects, including L663 development. It is incredibly expensive to build a completely hand-built, bespoke low-volume car, even if it is heavily based on an existing product. The margins are incredibly slim compared to something like an OCTA or an RRS SV. The SV Coupe was supposed to start at $295,000 and limited to 999 units. So it was never going to compete with the D90 in terms of price and volume, and since it was supposed to go into production in 2018, all would've been produced long before the D90 went on sale. And as cool as it was, it just didn't make sense for it to go into production at the time. The show car is still around, and I've been told it is kept at the JLR Classic Center alongside things like the DC100 concept, Range Stormer concept, some development prototypes saved from the crusher, old press cars, loads of other incredibly cool vehicles from JLR.
However I believe that the SVX had a more ‘hard-wearing’ interior than the OCTA. The OCTA’s chrome and carbon trim would probably scratch extremely easily, and the one in the dealer had creased rear seats. I’ve never seen that before. However, looking back at my photos, I do see what you mean.
