Reverse Dipping Mirror - Optional?
This being my first Land Rover, but not my first premium vehicle, I have to say the Owner's Manual is pretty bad at stating whether or not a feature is optional. I also have to say that the mix of what is standard and what isn't is a bit odd when compared to similar or even lesser vehicles I've owned. So, with that in mind, I ask is the reverse dipping side mirror an option on the 2020 Discovery Landmark? Although worded less than clearly, the manual seems to suggest that the seat memory is required. But, it doesn't say that. Nor is such a pairing a necessity.
Yes, I do understand that if something doesn't show up in the digital settings menus, it's likely an option that isn't installed. But that could also mean there is some sort of malfunction or I'm looking in the wrong place.

I believe it dips when reverse is selected if the mirror selector switch (on the door that selects which mirror adjusts with the 4 way switch) is in one of the two positions but not the other of the two positions.
Try the other position if you are trying to make it auto dip.

Apparently, it is bundled with the memory seats, which i don't have. But can be activated with Gap tool per another post.
