Upon starting my 2017D5 Lux, the rotary response **** lights up the various terrain programs *****-nilly. They continue to flash and won’t shut off even after double locking the doors. I have to plug in a charger to keep the battery from going flat overnight.
Coincidentally the steering wheel heater switch doesn’t light nor work.
I checked all the fuses at the passenger dash fuse terminal as a leaking windscreen blew a few fuses several years ago.
Any ideas besides a microprocessor going bad?
Thanks
Ron

Feb 19 update
Received repaired car from shop. It turns out to be a combination of rodent damage and windshield leaking.
2017 windshield was removed and resealed in 2019. In 2024 the top was resealed. Apparently it began to leak again at the top. Moisture fell on a wire bundle which had been stripped of insulation by rodents which resulted in many codes. Replaced passenger fuse box and modules.
The shop repaired the wiring and sealed the windshield top with a rubber gasket.
Vehicle has 63000 miles so was with saving. Time will tell.
