Default Stage 2 delete for the D5 TD6

I’m not really seeing any products for DPF/DEF delete for a D5 TD6. Is there a reason for such ?

you’re the man. Thank you

i sent an email to plug and play in New Zealand. No word yet. I’ll hit up these two and see what they say

how has yours been overall? From my searching in this forum, it seems like the D5 has been quite reliable minus the windshield recall?

Your welcome. I had to do the windshield. My D5 has been very good. My Rover Mechanic of over 20 years, says change oil and filter every 8K. I do what he says. Good luck on the delete. I too am thinking about the delete/tune too.

I had thought about the delete, but emission system is covered by mfg for longer than base warranty. I am also worried about how it would affect saleability later. I don't plan on keeping this more than another 10l miles or so.

i know on the BMW or VAG side at least, where carbon buildup was an issue for non-deleted vehicles, anyone selling an already tuned or deleted one on the forums had absolutely no problems. I would only search for deleted cars

How does one go about removing the DPF?

Sounds like the housing stays in place (with sensors, et al) and it's just the "guts" that are removed?

I know it's a late response but I'm trying to do this as well and the VelocityAP site doesn't mention if they delete the DEF or not now. I've emailed the celtic to see what they say.

Please keep me posted.

My understanding is that a software patch is needed once the "internals" are cleaned out to trick the ECU into thinking it's still there and functioning.

Heck, I'd be happy for any instructions to remove the DPF so that I can clean/flush it out.
