Default Suspension fault, "Normal Height Only" message displayed

Hi All,

Looking for some help here with my 2018 Disco with 8k miles. After taking off for a 1 mile or sitting idle after starting the car for a few minutes, I get a Suspension fault, "Normal Height Only" message displayed. Once that comes on, I cannot adjust my ride height. I have done some research and it seems to be a common problem with older LR that ends up with a compressor replacement. I am hoping this is not the issue here due to how new the car is. Any recommendation to reset this fault without going to the dealer?

Regards,

Jack

This seems like the exact reason you would bring it to the shop. I wouldn't ignore something like this, you have 8k miles so it is brand new. Schedule an appointment and get them to see if there is a failure occurring. If you wait it may actually fail out of warranty. Probably just a sensor issue.

Without a code reader it’s a guess.

I would say it’s a compressor fault. A ride height sensor would shut you down and a leak is not likely.

Been there. It was a compressor fault.

Dealer replaced in just a couple of hours.

@18_LR5 Raising this thread from the dead to see what was the ultimate culprit of your issue as I am getting the same message.

Compressor failure.

I did have this happen once, I was able to park the car for ~3 hours or so. Cleared and never came back.
