Default Tow hitch on Discovery V

Is it similar to the LR4 where all the cars had the frame part you just need the little insert?

There is an HSE at the dealer but I dont see a hitch or visible opening on the grey trim on the rear bumper?

Hi. I just purchased the new Discover V and was upset to learn that it is not the simple plug and play that I had on my previous LR3. I had to pay over $1,200 for a new bumper piece with an opening as well as the hitch it self. I will say the hitch itself is nice and has a hook for 4x4ing on it. I also asked the dealership to let me keep the original bumper piece without the cut out to possibly sell online since I know how expensive parts are. They conveniently "lost" it.

How did you not look at towing options before you bought it? I just bought a 2017 Disco 5 today and it has the hitch prominent in the back with electrical hooked up. Sorry you thought it was like the LR3/4. That sucks. I have an LR4 receiver if you want it LOL

Fort Gordon GA and I could use one if I find one for the right price. Don't care if locks or not as long as it can latch and unlatch.
