There are a couple threads in this forum that describe the brake controller install. From the sound of it, it's a Ford standard connector and wiring under the dash. It looks pretty straightforward to install.
I have a 2010 RR HSE. The car is already fitted with a receptacle for trailer wiring. (plz see the picture.) , but no harness to connect to trailer. I am in a bind to do the wiring and getting the part is going to take several days. I would appreciate your help, thank you!
1-Is the an after market male connector anyone os aware of?
2- If I could not find the connector, does anyone know what each of the wires are by the color?
3- If I figyured out what each wire is, can I rirectly connect them to the wire plugs on the trailer?
