Pulled the trailer Friday. All work fine. brake controller worked great. D5 seemed to have plenty of power for the job. Of course central TX is pretty flat.

At 70 mph there was a little sway. 65 seemed stable.

20’ enclosed car hauler. Approx 5000#s

at 70 mph it was getting 10,6 mpg

Great to hear all went well! What brake controller did you end up going with? Do you have a generic hitch ball or did you purchase the LR one? I can't speak to the sway as I drive a bit more conservative (60 mph on average).

Kurt controller. I have the factory towing package. That was why I waited 4 months for delivery.

I'm still looking for an aftermarket trailer hitch, as the OEM is IMO way to bulky and uggly, especially with the full dynamic package. I contacted various companies and Steve from "stealth hitches" replied:

Still waiting on a local customer to bring one (a Land Rover Discovery 2017/18) in. If you are on the forums, please tell everyone that the first one in will get a free hitch.

Best regards.
