Default Toyo vs. Falken

Anyone have experience with Toyo Open Country AT III or Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail? I am sure they are both fine for off-road situations, but wondering about road noise, on-road handling, etc.

Also, for anyone using these tires, what tire pressures are you running? Both on and off-road?

What really prompted me to write the review that I did in my other thread on the Toyos were how well they rode at what I would say, ridiculously fast speeds that we see on our roads today. It used to be 70 mph was fast, but now that's 80 mph. These tires were quiet as could be at 80 and even 85 mph, and with the tire pressures I was running at least, (35/37psi) rode very well, comfortable, and excellent traction. They are really the best of both worlds, and unless you really neet a M/T, these are excellent A/T tires that also happen to handle the paved roads just as well.

Thanks for the quick reply! When you ran that Lowe pressure, did it set off your TPMS light?

44psi and 50psi are awfully high and are intended for a full load with the third row. There are actually a different set of numbers in the owner's manual that says for lighter loads, you can run something like 34psi up front and 37psi in the rear. There is also a setting in the dash for switching between the two load sizes, which may or may not affect the TPMS sensors, but no, they don't otherwise have any trouble at the light load settings.
