Default TPMS on spare

Ordered with a full size spare, got a warning that the pressure was low. Would have been good if the dealer did it before we took delivery. Didn’t realize it would have it for the spare, which is nice to avoid a flat spare.

Never understood why a full size spare is not standard.

Funny the spelling of tire since it set to US English, guess UK seeps through 😂

Mine did exactly the same yesterday when the temp outside dropped. Unfortunately I think we have to winch it down to inflate it as it's face up...

I think I'd make the dealer do it just because it should have been done right to begin with? But, who am I to complain. At least you got yours . . .

That is beyond silly they spell [USA] tire followed by the [UK, Aussy] version.

But, I had a few German translation problems on our Touareg and Cayenne though. Just sentences that just did not make sense like someone put the German version into Google Translator without a proof read. Have not seen any yet on the Audi though.

We had this happen too about a week ago. We were taking it in for the CarPlay update and told them to fix it. When we picked it up the warning came back - SA told us you had to drive around a little to get the light to reset, which didn't make any sense to me. Have to ask my wife if it did in fact go away...

Well I had to adjust the tire pressure on all 4 corners, figured it is always good to get to know where the tools and spare access is as well. Bit of a pain to drop and air up, however that is pretty standard on most real SUVs that the tire is face up to protect from cosmetic damage when offroad.

Still chuckle at the spelling though.

Was not expecting to have a spare TPMS though, so nice surprise.
