Default Trailer Brake Controller

I just got back from my 3 hour camping trip and I was trying to find out does the Disco V have a brake controller built in or does it automatically use the trailer brakes???

If your Disco has the factory hitch the wiring harness is already in place. Remove the cover under your steering column and you will see the harness attached to a support very close to the fire wall. You need to provide the brake controller, whether it be with the harness or wireless.

very easy to install per above. It’s a Ford connection so you can order the appropriate wire harness. I believe ALL Disco V’s are pre-wired regardless of if you got the factory hitch or not.
