Default trailer brake question/advice

Just bought a pop-up to pull with my 2000 Disco. I had the round pin type trailer hook-up replaced with the new style that most campers and RV's use. The shop told me I was wired for the electric brake controller at the hook up point at rear bumper but I do not see the conector or wires that should be somewhere under the dash below the steering column. Anyone ever had to search for this? If so, I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

There aren't any, you are wired for lights only.
I would go to a trailer repair center, not u-haul and let them tell you what you should have.

How heavy is your pop up? There is no need for electric brakes with most of them, they only weigh 1500lbs.
I used to pull one with a Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with no trailer brakes.
