Question What Am I Missing - ACC? 2018 HSE Luxury

Hi Everyone - New member here. Just purchased my Disco HSE Luxury on 11/23. According to the LR site my vehicle should come standard with Adaptive Cruise Control, but I haven't been able to find this feature at all and we're about to go on a road trip to Florida from Chicago. Looking at my steering, I have two inactive buttons by cruise control buttons. Am I missing ACC? What are the inactive buttons for? Any help would be appreciated.

The ACC is an option on top of the HSE/HSE Lux AFAIK. With the 2019s they changed the options and ACC was part of the Driver Assist package.
On 2018 ACC was an option as well.
SO check if the ACC option was ordered for your 2018.

And yes, ACC has different controls on the steering wheel. See the manual for ACC here

Yes - yours doesn't have adaptive cruise. There were two drive features packages on the 2018. Called either Drive or Drive Pro. Drive gave some basic tech like lane change warnings etc. Drive Pro had the adaptive cruise system. If yours had it those two slots you point to would have buttons to set the distance away from the car in front
Yours will have standard cruise control

Most definitely not equipped with the ACC. in 2018 you had to have the Driver Pro Package for the ACC to be on the vehicle.
I hope the dealer didn't represent this as having it.

Thanks a bunch for the info. It was my mistake for looking at the 2019 standard feature on the LR website and assuming it's the same for 2018. Unfortunately, I couldn't find ACC on the sticker nor vehicle info on the site. Oh well. Would've been nice to use for our upcoming road trip. At least I still have the seat massager to help deal with the long drive.

The ACC and Queue Assist are great features.
Sorry yours does not have it.
