I still want to get a BlueSpark but have not gotten around to it yet. Perhaps it is because I only get to drive it once a month . . .

I have gotten verification from BlueSpark that they have a unit for the USA TD6. Still working on it though . . . it did work quite well on my Pepper and then the same unit on the Q5 [same 3.0 TDI]. Well, a full second 0-60. Noticeable. Even better 0-40 and throttle response. Better cruise mpgs.

Will advise . . . but here is their link.

I’ll say this. I’m jealous, I would love to see pictures, and get whatever warranty you can. They call it the African Massage.

The first is an hour into a 6hr drive that broke a shock absorber. The second is the best means I found to deal with said situation

Got my BlueSpark kit last week, customer service is great, shipping took few days, installed in 10 min. Works great. There is no change under 1800RPM as you can't fool the physics of turbo engine. But above 1800 it jumps out and rocks even on medium - default map preset. Highly recommend.

Great, we've gotten xmas out of the way, my Bluespark is nearing the top of the list. I was certainly happy with the Cayenne and Q5 version. Anxious to see if it is the same where like C6 is factory but I found D9 and E8 were my most used performance settings? Went back to C6 on trips just because it saw the biggest mpg improvement [2-3mpg as I recall?] with still noticeable performance improvement.

Or is this design completely different? Hopefully find out soon . . .

i didnt change the settings yet, not sure i will. MPG hard to measure and compare Apple To Apple, the cost of this car is not for people to shave few cents on the diesel/gas.
I tried same car with 3L Turbo Gas and I prefer Disel

Meh, true, but like when we go on 2000 mile trips, it is nice to show the non-believers that are only getting 22mpg out of their gasser Acura that's rated 25, we just got 34 with [now - post tune] over 500 lb.ft. and 300HP. It's just a cool factor thing. Beyond that . . . we only actually saved about $25 in fuel on the trip. No big deal. 30mpg is pretty good without the tune. Of course, this is NOT 85mph driving. Most of our sexagenarian trips are now from Kansas to NM or CO or both and back. 65-75mph mostly. Sweetspot.

Have you been able to find any info on what makes start/stop bad for diesels? It seems like it might add to the DPF clogging problem, but have no proof. Have you found any?

it is bad for any engine especially turbo. remember old days when turbo engines left running for a 5 min after you stop to shut it town gradually
many mechanical and oiling issues
now in 2020 TD3.0 they want to change oil only every 35 000km , just to kill it asap and force you to shop for a new car
can you believe it?

engine warmth. Could lead to making oil since it hasn’t warmed up enough to get the rings in the cylinders to expand.
