I had a 2003 Disco S, traded it in for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler unlimited which I absolutely love. However, it just doesn't compare to the feeling I get while driving the disco. I regretted that trade in which did get me 3/4 back of what I paid for it so I was ok at the time. I had gone through and done the recommended work for high mile disco's which I believe "disco Mike" posted originally, including a new front prop shaft from BP Utah and so hence I stumbled upon a silver 2003 Disco HSE seen originally on Ebay for sale then worked out a purchase off ebay. In any event with 116,000 miles the thing looks great(as most of them do anyway) and appears to have a clean carfax and autocheck. I am uncertain of the status of the front prop shaft(rebuild or new) but I will see when it arrives next week from Fla. I imagine this story is basically about a guy who just loved his ex Disco so much that he had to have another. I am quite proactive with my vehicles in terms of maintenance and plan on doing the same with this one to get as many more enjoyable miles out of it. Any recommendations are welcome.......
