New member here and first time rover owner. Picked up my 98 lse about a month ago, so far so good with it. Truck came from a good home and has been well taken care of. My plan with it is to add a small lift and slightly larger tires, use it for mild off roading and weekend camping getaways. Glad to have found the sight and happy to be here. Cheers!

Nice find. You picked up somewhat of a unicorn D1, the gold 98 LSE. They aren’t very common in decent shape. The gold 98 LSE was used in a LR press photo I believe.

Paint missing from from the front bumpers of the LSE’s is common. Don’t expect to find any exterior replacement pieces for it as they just don’t exist really, I.e. the painted front/rear bumpers and mirrors.

How many miles? Interior in good shape?

It has 167k and the interior is in pretty decent shape. Everything works minus the sunroofs, no big deal. Came with a factory bull bar and lights but I removed them. I prefer the plain looking front end.
