Default '99 LR D2 - 1st LR purchased, what do I need to know?

Hello,

We just purchased our first Land Rover today and got a LR Discovery 2 with 130,000 miles. We are normally Nissan Frontier/Xterra enthusiasts, but with a purchase of a 2001 Frontier in Feb with major engine troubles, we had to sell and find another option. This LR stood out from all the other 1999-2004 models that we looked at. It has a rebuilt motor, a majority of the sensors have been replaced, new radiator, new motor seals, and just about everything major that we read in forums has been replaced. We were "very skeptical" to purchase after reading so many negative reviews, but took it for a test drive and really liked the look and feel. We did notice upon purchase that someone had cut the back seatbelts out because it was a work truck and the seats were always down. We are headed out to a local car salvage yard to pull out some LR seatbelts this weekend so we can repair them. The seller did mention checking the anti-freeze and dumping out the water and filling with anti freeze in cold winter. That one has us puzzled. It does say in the user's manual that it needs to be 50% mix and checked often. Anyone out there own a '99 LD D2? What are your rants/raves and compliments to this vehicle?
