Battery drain issue-found heater valves constantly hot
I’m new to this forum (or new to any forum) my apologies if I’m lacking protocol.
My independent tech has been trying to find a cause for a battery drain on our 2010 L322 SC.
Recently while charging the battery in an attempt to get the car back to him again I noticed the heater valve solenoids were extremely hot. Unplugging the valves took care of that and it looks like the battery drain issue is gone.
Looking for someone experience with this and questioning what controls the heater valve voltage?
The car is shut down I am still reading 12v at the heater valve connector?
Thank you!
G
