I always liked the Land Rovers but their reputation always kept me away from them. When I was looking for a cheap hunting/overlanding vehicle I purchased a 1994 Montero SR that had some issues that I thought weren't a big deal and fixable. 4 years later I'm having that Montero hauled off to the scrap heap having put less than 2000 miles on it in that time.

Tuesday I picked up a 2005 LR3 HSE that had the HD option as it's replacement. Once my savings account recovers (and assuming it doesn't catch the Montero's infection) I'll be doing some upgrades.
