Hi. I am new to Land Rovers, but have been reading your forum to get an understanding of what I may be getting into. I will probably buy a friend's Discovery (117 K miles )because he died and wife needs to sell. The car has the typical problems, but also a coolant leak on the valley gasket clamp / seal just above the Tstat.

I think the site has lots of valuable information and am looking forward to owing a Land Rover.
