just bought a 96 disco from my brother and i love it. the guy before him removed the catalytic converters and welded in straight pipe, I don't know why. Anyway the check engine light isn't on but the service engine light is. Guess I'm wondering why the check engine light isn't on without the cats. Any thoughts?
