Default Finally bought a Disco

I bought my first LR 2 weeks ago yesterday, and took it on a road trip to Denver/Lake Dillon, CO 2 weeks ago today. It did pretty dang good. Getting up the mountain at highway speed was a little struggle, but nothing a basic tune-up shouldn't take care of. Mechanically it's sound, the interior isn't in the greatest shape, and it has plenty of "pinstriping"; but it rides smooth, handles well, & is a great basis to build my first lifted 4x4 (I've had 5 others before).

Also, I had my 1rst reason to lock the CDL yesterday. I needed to run to town yesterday & the county road from the rig to the highway was soggy, sticky, top-slick caliche.

Nice. Appears to be a 1997 SE. Enjoy!

stillruns,

Thanks! It is. I'm loving it. I was looking a LR3 or D2, but I couldn't pass this one up as a DD/project combo.

I just noticed my "muddy" pic didn't post in my OP.
