I am looking at buying a used Land Rover Disco and am simply doing my homework. I have a 1971 Ford Bronco and a 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser. I have been looking for a daily driver with good 4 wheel drive abilities to make the trip up to Connecticut in the winters because I have no idea how to drive on ice and snow. My new bride was recently diagnosed with cancer and she is being treated at Yale New Haven Hospital. A 500 mile trip one way in a 1970 LandCruiser is simply not possible for her creature comfort needs.
