Hey Guys and Girls, Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I am interested in purchasing an 02' LRD2. I am curious of things i should look out for on this vehicle that may be a common issue. the truck was very well maintained, it has 122k. upon inspection of it, it appears to have some slight oil residue on the top of the transmission where it connects to the motor, it also has a slight tick which sounds like its coming from the top end, but sounds even louder when you get underneath and only happens when its at operating temp. other than that the truck is an overall 8/10. i want to buy it but i just want to hear some feedback on what these issues may be, common or uncommon something to worry about or nothing to worry about. I know seeing oil anywhere is not good, and its not leaking enough to hit the ground but its there and its coming from somewhere. i plan on trying to clean it off and run it to see if i can get a better idea of where it might be coming from. If anyone has any links or articles to share to help me out that would be great. I look forward to learning more and sharing more with this community. Thanks Again!!
