Hello from Canada!
Just posting to introduce myself in the forum. My name is Pippa Girling and I currently live in Ontario, Canada. I own a Land Rover Discovery II and a Defender 110. I currently own part of a Land Rover Accessories and Parts company called The 4x4 Experience with my father Kevin Girling.
We are in the process of launching a brand new website and therefore are selling parts and accessories off of eBay in the mean time. My father used to be an international journalist for the Land Rover Enthusiast magazine. After it closed down he started writing articles for Land Rover World who he continues to work for.
I myself am in school studying business and am working towards growing my business of selling Land Rover parts worldwide. So far we have served people in Japan, Iceland, England, North America.
I can't wait to get involved with the forum and learn more about the vehicles I own.

Hello Pippa, I am hoping you can help me. Actually your father may be able to help with my unusual question. I am trying to locate an article that was in Land Rover Enthusiast magazine I believe in 2010, maybe 2009. It was about an old Land Rover pickup that was donated to Scripture Union in Peru after being registered and driven around the world. I recently visited the boys camp near LaMerced where the LR currently located. I know this is not much to go on but I do have some pictures in it's current condition. It is a long wheel base with headlights both on the grill and the fenders, I believe 1969 or 1970 model?
If you can offer any help in locating old issues of the magazine I would be very greatful.
Oh, and this is my first forum post so please forgive any misdeeds.
God bless, David
