Thought I would introduce myself and write up my first post as things are about to get crazy with my '03 D2.

I have only had this Disco for about 2 years. I've put just under 64,000 miles on it and it has been essentially trouble free. That is until it turned 205k and the oil pump failed which resulted in spun main bearings.

Now for the crazy part. Instead of dropping in a cheap used low mileage 4.6 and having more problems I sourced a low km '03 D2 TD5 complete drivetrain from over the pond. Swap is just about to get started.

'03 D2 mods:
-ome suspension.
-home built adjustable front panhard rod
-goodridge braided stainless dot brake lines
-ebc rotors and pads
-275 76 18 goodyear duratracs on 18x8.5 40 offset forged wheels
- cdl mod
-arb front bumper
-factory extended rear load rails

in the works:
-Full TD5 swap with erg delete, larger spearco intercooler, larger injectors, garrett water and oil cooled turbo, 3" mandrel exhaust, computer remap

Only Multnomah county in Oregon has emissions testing. Fortunately I do not live there.

Nice pic colink. I can see 4 vehicles in that line. You must have some LR buddies out there. The wife and I were just in Bend last Sept. I'm in Springfield
