Hello all, my 17 yo daughter decided she didn't want the sparkling newer car we had lined up for her she wanted something she'd feel tough in so I found her an 01 Disco 2. I was secretly hoping she wouldn't want it but she loves it. So far have replaced the high pressure ps line, ps pump, and water pump...along with the stereo..big shock. Getting ready to install track bars. The next to do list is figure out why the dome light have no power, why the front sunroof doesn't work, and why the power locks only click...

Her and my immediate future wish list include upgraded wheels and tires possibly two inch lift, roof rack, brush guard, tint, powered sub, and remote start and her being a 17yo lots of stickers...first one "yours may go fast, mine goes anywhere".

would love to hear from anyone in the metro with disco 2 knowledge to help reduce my stumbling/learning curve on trouble shooting.

 

Welcome! I am new heres as well. Not in the metro area - I am down in Wichita. Remote start is something I am interested in as well for my 08 LR3. Curious to see how/if it would work...
