Im looking to get a 04' with 85K on it by next week. Just joined so i can soak in all the info i need for maintenance and DIY repairs. So far this forum looks like a great source.

 

If you can budget a pre-purchase inspection it may save you quite a bit. Our tech area is a good place to start, plus the RAVE, the factory set of shop and owner manuals. Overheating (check with scanner), hidden codes (engine light painted over or removed), ticking noise when fully warmed up, front prop shaft about to snap; all these and more await the un-informed purchaser.

No off roading, just gonna use it for road trips with the family.

Love it, reminds me of when I first picked mine up. Might want to consider driving your other vehicles on the road trips unless you feel like spending a pretty penny on fuel.
