Hey there! I just made the potentially dubious decision to join the ranks of Land Rover owners with a 2008 LR3. After months of agonizing and trying to find the right one I landed on this '08 SE with 60k on the clock and an outstanding service history. Last week I flew up to Seattle and drove it home. Unfortunately the Rover spent some time in Michigan so there was some undisclosed surface rust on the undercarriage, but ultimately I bought it anyways.

When I was a kid my grandpa had a RRC and then a DI, which he used for extensive trips throughout Mexico, so I have a long-standing appreciation for these machines. When looking at my own LR, I ultimately landed on the LR3 because I want to be able to sleep comfortably in it and appreciated some of the newer features. My heart was still saying something classic though.

My goal is to build out a sleeping platform in the rear and make it an all-around adventure vehicle. I don't want to go too overboard on accessories yet, so will gradually start the transformation. First step will be some new tires.
