Default Hello from Texas

Hello everyone I am Mike from Texas, I have a 1998 Discovery. Glad to be apart of this forum. I am no stranger to diy, but I am new to LandRovers. I love my Disco, just needs some TLC to be in top nick. I joined up here to maybe get some ideas, trouble shoot some quick fix problems that my Rover needs. I am seeing a lot of nicely kept Rovers here; I am excited to be apart this Forum.

Welcome. The factory shop manual is called the RAVE, a free download below. Having once lived in the Houston area, I can tell you that changing to a 180F thermostat would work in your favor. That temp gauge is not real accurate, mine will read about 9:30 on the gauge at 235F on the scanner. A scanner like an Ultra Gauge is a handy thing indeed.
