i have a 2003 range rover and for some reason if i open the tailgate using the trunk release button on the remote of inside of the vehicle it makes 3 loud clicks and partially opens, then u have to press it again to make it unlatch when u try to close the tailgate doing this it wont close unless u press it again...but it works perfectly if i just open all the doors to the vehicle by pressing the unlock door button on the remote or in the vehicle, doesnt make the 3 loud clicks or anything and closes just fine also....what could be causing my tailgate to malfuntion when only using the trunk release button? thanks
