Hey all, and greetings from Boston.

I've been a long time guest, drooling over classifieds and photos of rigs on the forum for years. I dream, like so many, of one day owning a Series II rover.

In the meantime, I have an unusual request, and have joined in hopes of finding some leads:

In October, my girl and I are getting married, just outside of Charlottesville, VA. While I'm many years away from owning my own rover (living in the city and renting, our only "vehicle" is currently a 1964 Vespa), she has embraced the idea of our wedding Get-Away car being a vintage rover.

SO, I'm hoping to connect with any Series or Defender owners in the Charlottesville or Richmond area. You'd be welcome to come and crash our wedding (with a guest), enjoy food (and your guest the drink), and then at the end of the wedding drive my new wife and I away from the wedding venue and back in to Charlottesville (~25 minutes). We'd also pay you a "rental" fee too, of course.

I'll repost this elsewhere, though not sure where would be best for such an odd request. Also posting a few photos of my dream trucks, and a few I've come across while doing research abroad. The SWB have always been a favorite, like these two I've been drooling over on eBay.
