Hi all, first LR
After a few months of lurking on the forums without an account, which mostly was to research the merits of different models, I took the plunge!
Few weeks back, I picked up a 2006 LR3 SE in Zermatt Silver with 73k.
Just wanted to thank y'all for some good pre-purchase info, and to give a shout-out to the guys at Rosenthal Jaguar/LR up in Tyson's Corner Virginia for some stellar work in helping me vet a few vehicles before I pulled the trigger.
Short term goals:
find trails (I live in Fredericksburg VA but wouldn't mind a drive north or south to meet up with some folks)
start on 75k service interval
get a good set of recovery tools
full size matching spare
Long term goals
sliders
roof rack
rear spare carrier (kaymar, rasta, etc)
front bumper
warn winch (might be last, serious $$$ on disco III's)
snorkel (for dust)
little bits like cargo divider, rubber mats for the trunk, etc.
