Default Hi And Leaks

Hi All,

New member and new to the forums. I have been in the British Army for 20 years and driven all the landrovers from Light weights to forwards controls and everything in between. I have even had the pleasure of using a brand new Armoured Range Rover for the last 6 months while stationed in Bagdad. So with a happy heart I returned home and bought a 1996 Discovery for recreation and fun. It has 136,000 on the clock but sounds brand new, It's an ES so the interior is really nice and everything electrical seems to work. The only ****le I have is with the way the rear compartment lets in water. After a shower or a drive in the rain, there seems to be water leaking in from about 4 different places around the top seal of the roof, just above the windows. I am hoping that this is an easy and inexpensive problem to cure and look forward to getting any feedback from the old and bold members of the forum. Lets hope this is the start of a wonderful relationship.

Cheers,

Roger.

Welcome to the Forum.
And welcome back from Bagdad, and Thank You for your part!
On your Disco the window gaskets will need to be replaced that should be
all it is.( Alpine windows )
Check under the carpet in the back with the water leak you could
have rust .
And you have the best year Disco a 1996.
Mike
